The Active Duty Agriculture Academy (AAAA)
The AAAA is a premier SkillBridge opportunity provided by The Land at Home Project in partnership with U.S. Army’s first regenerative grazing initiative at Camp San Luis Obispo, CA, and The University of Arizona. Interns are based at the Regenerative Grazing Open Air Lab (R-GOAL) at Camp San Luis Obispo, CA for an immersive hands-on experience. This program bridges the gap between military land management and sustainable food production. You won’t just learn how to farm; you will understand why food security is national security.
You will combine rigorous hands-on practical experience with academic learning on the foundations of agriculture.
The Certificate Program: Participants concurrently complete an online, non-credit-bearing certificate program from The University of Arizona, ensuring you leave with both dirt under your fingernails and a solid foundation in agricultural science.
