More About Andy
Andy volunteers his time managing the accounting for The Land At Home Project. He is a highly decorated retired U.S. Army Major and combat artillery veteran with a lifelong passion for numbers and precision. Throughout his military career, he mastered the art of manual field artillery gunnery—performing intricate calculations, plotting trajectories, and adjusting for countless variables to achieve exact effects under pressure.
That same analytical mindset and commitment to accuracy now fuel his work in nonprofit financial management. He takes pride in bringing structure, clarity, and strategic insight to complex financial systems—ensuring accountability, transparency, and mission-driven results. Whether managing budgets, optimizing resources, or mentoring teams, he approaches every challenge with the discipline and problem-solving focus honed on the firing line.
Currently enjoying his military retirement in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, working part-time as nonprofit accountant, and spending time with his family and his Maltipoo.
